The SAGALA mission is to provide a professional and social network for gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual cadets, midshipmen and alumni who attended one of the five federal service academies
Membership is open only to those individuals who have taken the "oath of office" as a cadet or midshipman, whether or not your graduated. This is an "alumni" group for individuals who attended one of these five schools. Just as alumni from the five service acadamies are not normally allowed to join alumni groups for institutions which they have not attended, there is no "Associate membership" within this organization. There is no expectation of any policy change in the future. Please see the Links to Other Organizations which might be of interest to you.
If you are a current Gay or Lesbian Midshipman or Cadet at one of the service academies, you are most welcome to join us here at SAGALA. Please ALSO read the "Survival Guide for LGBT Midshipmen & Cadets" at The Decatur Club.
If you are an alumni, as defined above, please join us. To protect the personal privacy of our members, many of who are currently serving on active duty, we will need to verify your status as an alumni as part of the entry process.
